Marilyn Doome Gerke, age 87, of New Berlin, Wisconsin, formerly of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, in New Berlin.
She was born on March 12, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late John Joseph Dziubek and Charlette Emelia Dziubek-Krawczyk.
Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband, Garon (Gary) Gerke; her children: Thomas (Julie) Doome, Karen (Joseph) Dorsey, Jill Juds, and Robert (Lisa Gieg-Doome) Doome; and her stepdaughter, Kim (David) Kramer. She was a proud grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and she was also blessed with fifteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Eileen Schmitz and John Dziubek, and is survived by her brother, Dennis Dziubek.
Marilyn had a successful career in real estate and later founded Foremost Financial Group. She also shared her love of music by singing in the choir at Hope Lutheran Church in The Villages, Florida. Above all, Marilyn cherished time spent with her family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—who brought her immense joy throughout her life. She also loved traveling the world with her husband Gary and creating lasting memories with those she loved most.
In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held to celebrate her life.
