Marilyn Rebecca Haas Hare, 87, of Bellefontaine, passed away at her Bellefontaine residence.
She was born in Logan County, Ohio on September 2, 1937, the daughter of the late William R. and Cleo Lucille (Jones) Haas.
On April 13, 1992, she married James R. Hare, and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1997, as did her brother-in-law, John Hare, who also passed away on January 10, 1997. A very special friend, Bill Columber, also passed away in 1997.
Marilyn was a licensed cosmetologist and had worked as a beautician at La Contoura Beauty Salon in Bellefontaine for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bellefontaine. Marilyn enjoyed working in her yard, traveling, and participating in activities at the Friendly Senior Center.
Pastor Joe Ziraldo will officiate a funeral service on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11:00am in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 201 N Main St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
