Marilyn K. Jarvis passed peacefully in her home among family and friends on September 28th, 2025. Marilyn was born on August 19, 1951 to Marlin and Ruby Wade in Oklahoma City. She was a graduate of Putnam City High School in 1969. She married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Charles Jarvis, on March 22, 1969 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage shortly before Charles' death in 2019. One of their first dates was to the State Fair Speedway cementing a passion for racing that became one of the cores of the life and family they built together. Marilyn was known for being one of the best score keepers at any racetrack she was at, and even was with California Racing Association for a season as one of their official score keepers. She was a lifelong member and contributor to the ¼ and ½ Booster Club for the Oklahoma State Fair Speedway. Affectionately known as Mimi to so many, she always had an open house and a warm meal for countless church youth groups, racing family and actually family to gather. She instilled her love of God by loving all those around her as a "Mimi" to anyone that she came into contact with. She loved a full house, seating was always standing or floor seating only for every holiday, birthday, and gathering. She loved her children and grandchildren; using any excuse to see them for even a few minutes. She spent 34 years working at the Federal Aviation Association specializing in contracts and even earned special accommodation from the president upon retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, and parents Marlin and Ruby Wade. She is survived by her children: Rene Jarvis of Yukon, and Wade Jarvis of Yukon. Siblings: Pat Rutledge of Shawnee; Mona Bean of Midwest City; James "Jimmy" and wife Angie of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren: Ashley Mortz and her husband Ryon of Bethany; Kaleb Cradduck and wife Katie of Dallas, TX; Cody Jarvis and wife Jessa of Mustang; Jakob Jarvis of Yukon. Six great grandchildren Emma, Wyatt, Bethany, Charlie, Chelsea "Abby", and Callum. Along with many other relatives that will dearly miss her.
