Marilyn Joyce Jones, aged 85, passed away November 25, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah.
She was born March 1, 1939, in Murray, Utah to Elmer LeRoy Trone and Eunice Catherine Green. Married Nephi Philip Jones June 26, 1959, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They made their home in Taylorsville, Utah.
Survived by five sons and three daughters: Philip (Mary Ann); Gary (Renee); Scott (Kim); Leslie (Shauna); Marilyn Allred (Scobey); Josephine;
Charles (Carrie); Karen McClintock (David); twenty-one grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; and by two brothers: Guy and Alvin (Bertie).
She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Catherine, two grandchildren and her brother Elmer.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 11 am at the Taylorsville 10th Ward, 4950 South 1950 West, Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah and Wednesday at the church 10 am to 10:45 a.m.
