Marilyn Joyce Lyon

A celebration of life service for Marilyn "Kitzel" Lyon will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka. Marilyn Joyce, daughter of the late Ralph Adam Fredrick and Aline Mae (Ludden) Meyer, was born September 13, 1940, at Curtis, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family September 16, 2025, at her home in Waynoka at the age of 85 years and 3 days. Marilyn was a member of the Church of God. She was raised in the Waynoka area where she attended school. She raised her four children in the Waynoka area also. She was known as Mom, Grandma, Nana, and G.G. to many. Besides her parents, Ralph and Aline, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andy Meyer; a sister, Sandy Lorenz; a granddaughter, Vicki Sanborn; a grandson, Lonnie Bolar; and two stepsons, Dennis Kopf and Marion Kopf. Marilyn is survived by her children, Delmar Crawford and wife, Cindy, of Jones, Michael Crawford and wife, Tammie, of Jones, Sharlotte Klein and Dwight Biel of Waynoka, and Brenda Farmer and husband, Cecil, of Waynoka; stepsons, Kevin Kopf of Keene, Texas, and Doug Kopf and wife, Lisa, of Windom, Texas; one sister, Juanita Lyon of Canton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a significant other, Doial Dauphin of Waynoka; other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Waynoka EMS and Fire Department.
