Marilyn J. Miller, 81, of Essex Junction, passed away January 25th, 2026 with her family by her side.

Marilyn grew up in Shelburne and attended Shelburne Schools.

She married Wayne A. Miller on May 8th, 1965. Marilyn worked in the dietary department at Mary Fletcher Hospital until 1987. Throughout her life, she enjoyed camping, square dancing, and playing bingo. In 1978 she traveled cross country with her husband and children. Her biggest hobby was her knitting and crocheting.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lillian Jarvis. Her brother Clifton Jarvis and her youngest son Scott Miller in 2023.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne A. Miller. Her daughter Julie Bergeron (and spouse David), her son Shawn Miller (and spouse Lori). She has 6 grandchildren, Crystal, Shawn, and Cassie Miller; Kayla Moore, Jessica Moore, and Lydia Laroque. Her sister Patricia Robinson and a sister-in-law Marilyn Relyea. Several nieces, nephews, and 7 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 5-7pm at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Essex Junction, VT. The burial and graveside service will be in the spring at the convenience of the family.
