Marilyn E. Moe, 92, of Edgerton, WI passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Agrace Hospice, Fitchburg, WI. Marilyn was born on July 9, 1932 in Edgerton, WI to Thomas Loren Holt and Helen Evelyn Geske Holt. She was raised by loving grandparents August and Betsy Geske. She graduated from Edgerton High School in 1950. She married Kenneth Frank Brandt February 20, 1953, they separated in July 1970. She married Wesley Ross Moe on December 9, 1977 in Rockford, IL. They were happily married almost 38 years until his death on September 4th, 2015. She worked for City of Edgerton for 18 years until retiring July 9th, 1997. Prior jobs included Highway Trailer office, Tobacco Exchange Bank, 1st National Bank in Janesville, Dr. Robert Reitz, Edgerton Plumbing & Heating, Edgerton Veterinary Clinic. She was a member of the Central Lutheran Church & Krazy Quilters. Also served on the church kitchen crew for funerals, Historical Commission and Depot Restoration Group. Hobbies included making quilts for family and friends, knitting caps and scarves for loved ones and donated many to Gifts for Kids, reading. She very much enjoyed long rides on quiet roads around the state and trips with Wes to national parks, Canada Rockies, Nova Scotia and fishing trips in Northern Wisconsin. Her favorite enjoyment being with grandchildren and special joy was caring for great grandsons Damian and Dylan. She also enjoyed time with Erika, Ella, Devan and Kristine. Her grandson Wesley brought her so much joy and happiness. Survived by her wonderful grandson Wesley (Sarah) Brandt and very special great grandsons Damian (Alazae) Brandt and Dylan Brandt. And a great-great grandchild on the way. Sister-in-law Lillian Veld. Step-grandchildren; Erika (Matt) Raess, Brian (Katie) Fuchs, Chad (Staci) Vertz and their children: Ella, Tia, Reese & Chandler. Also survived by "adopted" grandchildren: Melissa Perez, Susan (Ben) DeAvila, Devan Eastman and nieces & nephews. Proceed in death by: grandparents, parents, stepfather Arthur Krueger Sr, son Michael Brandt, Husband Wesley, Sister Virgene Davies, Brothers Ronald and Arthur Krueger Jr, & Roger Krueger. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Central Lutheran Church with Pastor Jack Way officiating. Burial will follow at Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Albrecht Funeral Homes, Edgerton from 4 PM to 6 PM and from 10 AM until the start of services on Wednesday. www.albrechtfunerlahomes.com
