Marilyn Mormile Obituary

Published by Legacy on Apr. 4, 2025.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marilyn May Mormile. Marilyn passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, of natural causes. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Marilyn lived a full and vibrant life filled with compassion, adventure, and service to others.
Marilyn had an adventurous spirit and a deep appreciation for the world around her. She loved living in Florida where she enjoyed the warm weather and beautiful beaches. She traveled extensively, collecting memories and friendships wherever she went. Above all, she loved life - in all its color, depth, and joy. A devout Roman Catholic, Marilyn's faith was a guiding light in her life, offering strength and comfort to her and those who knew her.
Marilyn spent much of her early career as an administrative assistant at Household Finance Company. She also dedicated over 15 years of her life as a private au pair, nurturing and supporting two families with unwavering love and care.
In her midlife, driven by a deep desire to help others, Marilyn courageously pursued and attained her Registered Nurse degree at the age of 55. She went on to serve elderly patients as a nurse at ACTS Retirement Life Communities, where she was cherished for her kindness, patience, and dedication.
She is survived by her loving children, Lisa Marie Seonia her husband Joseph and Robert Angelo Mormile his wife Elizabeth and her treasured grandchildren: Kelly Doyle and her husband David, and their children Nicholas, Katherine, and Cameron; and Lauren Donahue and her husband Brendan, and their daughters Harper and Charlotte; Michael Mormile and his wife Erin, and their children Michael and Anthony; Andrew Mormile and his wife Jennifer, and their children Mason and Violet.
Marilyn's warmth, humor, and generous heart will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Services will be private, immediate family only.
