Marilyn Pardee, born January 8, 1955, age 68 of Lake City, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2023, in her family's home surrounded by her loving family.
Marilyn was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for those she loved. She had a talent for crocheting and sewing, loved watching Nascar and drinking coffee.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Pardee, Amy Pardee, Melissa Pulliam, Pamela (David) Dushane, Tonya (John Moore) Pardee, and 8 grandchildren.She is also survived by her siblings, Donna Letbetter, John/Clyde (Linda) Goodrich, Marlene (Jerry) Dixon, Jerry (Paula) Goodrich, Sandra Carrigan, Rhonda (Dale) Shaw, Diane Palmer and her first husband, Charles Pardee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Beatrice (Eling) Goodrich, her second husband, Richard Thompson and siblings, Shirley Bowers and Gary Goodrich.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City with Pastor Nate Walker officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Countryside Grill in Lake City.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be directed to the family.
The family is being served by the Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City. Words of comfort and memories may be shared on www.holdshipfuneralhomes.com.
