Marilyn Pellman (née Mathews), beloved wife of William Pellman for 49 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
She was the daughter of the late Paul and Antoinette Mathews (née Geiger). Her children survive Marilyn, Darian Pellman (Holli), Carrie Luster, and Mary Pellman (Jeff); and her cherished grandchildren Jada, Darian Jr. Pellman, Maya, Joseph, Eli Luster, Constantine Lanham, Mary Carol, and Heavenly Pellman. Sister of William Mathews (Mary) and the late Suzanne Kammerer (nee Mathews) (Leo). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Marilyn was a lifelong woman of faith and a devoted member of St. Clare Parish, where she also served compassionately on the Bereavement Committee. Her faith was not only something she practiced but also something she lived out most often through quiet presence, kindness, and service to others.
Marilyn graduated from Edgecliff College at Xavier University and spent 38 years at Procter & Gamble, retiring after a distinguished career marked by commitment and integrity.
She loved an active life that included tennis, skiing, and golf. Equally, she loved opening her home and heart to others. Marilyn was the ultimate hostess, graciously hosting bridal and baby showers, celebrations, and gatherings that made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.
She was a longtime member of the Colonial and Queen City Racquet Clubs and Clovernook Country Club, where she enjoyed participating in multiple golf leagues and treasured the friendships she built there over many years.
Travel was another great joy in her life. Together, Marilyn and her husband Bill explored the world, visiting continents across the globe and creating a lifetime of memories. She lived entirely in the present while always looking forward with hope and excitement for what was yet to come.
Above all, Marilyn was deeply devoted to her family. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Bill, and was the heart of her family, cherishing her children and her bond with her siblings. Family was her greatest joy and her proudest legacy.
A loyal and steadfast friend, Marilyn was known for sitting by the bedside of those who were ill, offering comfort, prayer, and companionship when it mattered most. She showed up without fanfare, embodying Christ’s love through presence, grace, and unwavering care.
Visitation will be held at St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45224, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
