Donnalyn M Pellman

Donna Pellman passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, just days before her 87th birthday. Born in Rochester, New York, to Jo and Don Carneval, Donna was the eldest of two daughters. She attended East High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Paul Eugene Pellman, on September 2, 1961.
Together, Donna and Paul built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, and adventure. They were blessed with two children, Paul and Cindy, and in 1968, the family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where they raised their children and created lifelong friendships.
Donna had a deep curiosity about the world and a joyful spirit of exploration. She loved to travel-whether discovering new countries or revisiting favorite places-and cherished the memories made on her many adventures with family and friends. She was especially a joyous and energetic grandmother, who delighted in sharing travel and food experiences with her family. Donna loved the beach, where she could often be found reading in her favorite beach chair, and she had a lifelong affection for Italian food, which reminded her of her family heritage and joyful gatherings.
Faith was a cornerstone of Donna's life. She was an active and devoted member of the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale for over 50 years, where she found both spiritual growth and a close-knit community that enriched her life. Donna served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister, a role she cherished deeply and carried out with grace and compassion.
Donna is survived by her sister, Jean; her son, Paul, and his wife, Michele; her son-in-law, Ted; and her four beloved grandchildren, Maddie, Kate, Elizabeth, and Ben. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and her daughter, Cindy.
Donna will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and deep devotion to her family and faith. Her adventurous spirit, love of life, and generous heart leave an enduring legacy in all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th at 10:30AM at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franciscan Renewal Center or Hospice of the Valley in Donna's memory.
