Marilyn Pol, age 84, of Rootstown, Ohio, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Marilyn was born December 7, 1940, to Harry and Virgie Frame. She is survived by her husband Jerry Pol. They were married 67 years and have three children. Mark Pol (Sue), Brad Pol, Lisa Dustin, and sister Phyllis Shockley (John). She also leaves seven grandchildren as well as many friends. Marilyn was a homemaker most of her life but found time to support her children in many school activities and organizations. She enjoyed quilting and was a long time member of The "Cocoons" making quilts and bed rolls for the needy and volunteered at "The Center of Hope". Marilyn was a Christian and a member of the Portage Community Chapel in Ravenna. Per Marilyn's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 2pm to 5pm at the Ravenna Church of Christ, 3987 Summit Road, Ravenna, with visitation starting at 2:00PM and a Celebration of Life service starting at 3:00PM followed by refreshments. The family would like to thank Home Instead of Ravenna, Grace Hospice and Marilyn's final care givers. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Shepherds House in Ravenna, The Center of Hope, or the Portage APL.
