Katy, Texas - Marilyn Radke passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born in Houston, Texas, Marilyn was a proud graduate of Incarnate Word Academy. She was married to the love of her life, Shelby Radke, for 62 years. Together, they built a strong and loving family rooted in tradition, faith, and togetherness.

Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived a full and meaningful life centered around faith, family, and love.

She carried her strong values and kind heart into every role she held. Marilyn was a constant presence at family gatherings, where her warmth and hospitality made everyone feel welcome. She found great joy in cooking for her loved ones, tending to her garden, and especially cheering on her grandchildren at their many sporting events. She was also a lifelong Houston Astros fan, never missing a chance to root for her team.

Marilyn was deeply loved by her daughters, Shelley Orsak (husband Mike Orsak), Stacie Radke, and Shawna Radke. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Shay Wert (husband Jordan Wert), Ashlyn Demny (husband Paul Demny), Seeley Orsak, Sheldon Orsak, and Anna Shadle. She also had the great joy of welcoming her great-grandchildren, Noah Demny and Riley Demny, who brought her endless smiles and pride.

She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Mize, Ray Jones, and Jerry Jones.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Shelby Radke; her parents, Ray and Sarah Jones; her sister, Cecelia Page, and husband Richard Page; her brother-in-law, Sammie Mize; and her sister-in-law, Vonnie Jones.

A special part of Marilyn's daily life was her beloved dog, Bentley, who brought her constant joy, comfort, and companionship.

Those who knew Marilyn will remember her not only for her deep love and generosity, but also for her wisdom and the way her contagious laugh could light up any room. Her gentle spirit, unwavering support, and loving heart made her a pillar of strength to her family and a blessing to all who knew her.

Her memory will be forever cherished, and her presence deeply missed.
