Marilyn worked for 20 years in healthcare as a CNA.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Debra W. Young and son; Matt L. Watkins both of Whiteville, grandchildren; Jessica Smith (Joey) of Conway, SC, Carrie W. Wilson (Justin White) of Whiteville, and Joshua Watkins of Concord, NC, and 5 great grandchildren; Ashton Smith, Audrey Smith, Ethan Watkins-White, Wyatt Watkins-White and Kaleigh Watkins-White.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 pm prior to the service.
McKenzie Mortuary, 112 Jefferson Street, Whiteville, NC is serving the Watkins family.
