Marilyn Edwards Wiley, 71, of Dawson, died Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Her graveside service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Parrott City Cemetery. Rev. Dick Gill will officiate.
Born in Albany, Marilyn spent most of her life in Dawson. She was a retired insurance agent and owner of Insurance Market.
She was an animal lover and loved the outdoors whether it be tending to her flowers, watching the hummingbirds or the deer in her back yard.
Not only did she like the outdoors, she also loved to cook and watch sports on tv. If there were a college football, NFL football or basketball game on you could find her in front of the TV cheering her heart out.
She was a member of Dawson Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband Steve Wiley, her sister, Beth Wadell (Emory), brother-in-law Mike Wiley, (Debbie), sister-in-laws, Gina O’Hearn (Jeff), Joy Spilman (Mike) and a host of nieces and nephews.
