Marilyn Wille Obituary

Marilyn J. Wille, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on November 8, 1936, she spent her life surrounded by the love of family and friends, creating cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of those who knew her.

Marilyn was the devoted wife of Melvin "Mel" E. Wille. Together, they nurtured a loving household that welcomed laughter and warmth. She is survived by her children, David (Karen) Wille, Dawn (Peter) Miceli, Ken (Lynne) Wille, and Kim (Mark) Schultz, who all carry forward her spirit and values. Marilyn was not only a mother but also a guiding light to her grandchildren: Kate, Melanie, Adam (Jen), Mike (Danielle), Lindsay (Tyler), and Greg. Her role expanded even further with the arrival of her great grandchildren, Maren, Emmett, Jett, and Sophie, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Her siblings, Eugene, Wayne, and Mike Otte, along with Patricia Vanacker, were part of her cherished circle, sharing in both moments of joy and the challenges of life. Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were touched by her kindness and spirited nature.

Marilyn was passionate about many things in life, with a particular love for playing cards and tending to her garden. Her hobbies brought her immense pleasure, and she enjoyed the simple joys of life, particularly when surrounded by her friends and family. The bonds she formed were woven into the fabric of her life, making every gathering special.

In her passing, Marilyn rejoins her parents, Clarence and Helen Otte, as well as her siblings, Donna and Robert Otte, and Christine Lang, who have gone before her. While her absence will be profoundly felt, her memory will live on through the love she instilled in her family and the many lives she touched. Marilyn's legacy is one of love, warmth, and a celebration of life's simple pleasures, reminding us all to cherish our time together.
