Marilynn Yvonne Baesl born December 27, 1940 to parents Erwin Wallace and Vivianna (nee King) Wallace departed this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 29, 2025 at home in Frankenmuth, Michigan at age 84.
Marilynn was introduced to the love of her life Donald (Don) Baesl and after a time of courtship, the two love birds married May 12, 1962 and soon afterwards started a family.
Marilynn had a strong faith in the Lord and love of family ensuring everyone's needs were met. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, cooking and baking, and making clothes especially Easter dresses for her daughters.
She loved to spoil her grand babies quoting "one for each hand" no matter the treat.
Marilynn devoted her time to church supporting as a Sunday school teacher, Dorcas Society, Mary Martha group, and as a choir member.
For several years, she was a member of the Millington Mills chapter of the Sweet Adelines as well as a quartet competing in London, England, Montreal, Canada, and many cities throughout the United States.
After retirement, Marilyn and Don became more active in the church and traveled across the United States visiting children, grandchildren and extended family.
Surviving family members are her loving husband Don Baesl, son Michael (Itsi) Baesl, daughters Barbara (Keith) Reagan and Donna (Fred) Diedrich, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Marilynn was predeceased by her parents, siblings (Darlene, Jerome, and Robert), and stepdaughter Jodie Baesl.
The family extends their thanks and appreciation to Wellsprings Lutheran Services and hospice teams for their support, as well as the Ware-Smith Woolever funeral home Reese, Michigan.
The graveside service will be held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Dementia Society of America https://dementiasociety.org or St. Jude's hospital to which Marilynn was a ardent supporter.
