Marilynn L. West, born on April 29, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. Marilynn led a fulfilling career at Enginetics, retiring after many dedicated years.
Marilynn was a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her beloved family and many friends who knew her for her joyful laugh and love for spending time together. Her family includes her sister Brenda Bollinger, her brother Buddy Bollinger, son Ronald West II and his wife Melissa West, as well as her grandchildren: Holden West, Oliver West, Kayely West, Ronald West III, and Rachael West. Marilynn also shared her life with her great-grandchildren Eleanor West and Van West, who brought her immense joy.
Marilynn had a passion for cooking, scrapbooking, and reading. She adored Christmas and cherished every moment spent with her family. A devoted member of Bethel Church, she made it a point to serve others and was known as a woman of God. Her charitable heart and willingness to always lend a helping hand left a lasting impact on those around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald West, her parents Robert & Rose Bollinger, her brother Bobby Bollinger, and her sister Jan Bollinger. Marilynn’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her kindness and generosity.
