Mario Martin Gomez, age 43, and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 26, 2026. Mario is survived by his father, Roland and wife, Selia; mother, Yvonne Stewart and husband, Michael; Son, Ezekiel Phoenix; siblings, Adrian Gomez and wife, Melissa, Savannah Luce and husband, Bryan, Sarah Allred and husband, Joseph, Stewart Burnett and wife Zaryah, and Darrick Stewart; mother of his child, Valarie Lovato; godmother, Debbie Silva; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends; He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adrian and Corine Martinez, Grandfather Amado Sanchez and grandmother, Barbara Fernandez and Godfather, Sam Gomez. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Christian Church located at 170 State Road 344 in Edgewood, New Mexico. All are invited to stay for a lunch reception with the family.
