Mario Nanni Obituary

Mario L. Nanni, 69, of Rockford, passed away with his daughter Jodi holding his hand until his last breath on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Born September 30, 1955, in Rockford, the son of Dario L. and Mary E. (Tinsley) Nanni. Graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1973. Mario worked for American Quality retiring 3 years ago. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and The Lombardi Club. He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, WWE wrestling, being with his family, friends and co-workers, the Green Bay Packers, drinking beer, and playing the lotto every day. Mario loved country music and life.
Survived by his daughters, Jodi Kinnison and Christy (Arlando) Glover; and son, Mike Kinnison; granddaughter, Jasmine Hedrick; brother, Dario L. (Debbie) Nanni; niece, Denise L. Nanni; and nephew, Dario J. (Paula) Nanni. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Peter and Andrew Nanni and Johnny Tinsley; and the love of his life, Carol Kinnison.
Celebration of Life to be held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at American Lombardi Society, 209 Olive St. Rockford. Memorials may be made to Jodi Kinnison for a memorial to be established at a later date. To share a memory or condolence please visit olsonfh.com
