Marion L. Cardella

On September 10, 2022 Marion L. Cardella got her wings and went to walk with angels. She was 81 years old.
Born and raised in Newark to the late Joseph and Filomena Festa (nee Linfante) she settled in Roseland in 1972. Prior to her retirement, she was a bookkeeper for UFCW, Local 1245 in Little Falls, NJ. Marion enjoyed crocheting and the yearly family tomato canning. Nothing made her happier than to spend time with her adoring grandchildren.
Marion was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is pre-deceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Costantino (Sal) Cardella and her brother, Joseph Festa. Her family grieves her loss but they take comfort in knowing their Sal and Marion are together again. Surviving are her beloved daughters, Tina Marie Cardella and Kathleen Robertiello and husband Michael; cherished grandchildren, Michael Robertiello and fiancé Kara, Alexa Robertiello and boyfriend Joseph, Steven Cardella, and Madison Robertiello, loving brother, Anthony Festa, and loving grand-dog, Bowie.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday, from 4 pm through 8 pm, in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday 10 am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, NJ with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
