Marion Marcella Chudy, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 1, 1932, to Charles and Angie Bajorek Chudy. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sylvia Kelley Chudy, his parents, his brothers Philip, Brunan, and Amail along with his daughter in-law Shanna Chudy and son in-law Tim Swicegood. Marion was a dedicated father, Grandfather AKA Gaga, father- in-law, and friend. His greatest joys in life were his children and grandchildren.

Marion graduated from Catholic High School for Boys, worked for Union Pacific, joined the Army during the Korean War, and ended his career working for the United States Postal Service. During his retirement, he loved gardening, camping, collecting flashlights and watches but would still continuously ask what time it was. Marion was a devout Catholic who never missed mass even as his health continued to decline, he went to mass every Sunday.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Alicia Chudy Brown (Jim), Mark Chudy (Teresa), Maria Chudy Swicegood, Scott Chudy, and Kelley Chudy (Traci). The joy of his life were his grandchildren Leah, Carman, and Brandon Brown, Morgan Chudy, Piper-Bliss Chudy, Nick and Macie Chudy. He also loved all of his grand dogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Presbyterian Village 510 N. Brookside Dr., Little Rock Arkansas 72205 Attn: Lisa in memory of Marion M. Chudy.
