Wayne R. Chudy

Wayne Richard Chudy, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at the age of 77, in Palm Harbor, FL, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on January 29, 1948, in Stamford, CT, Wayne was a man whose kind, gentle, and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew him.
Wayne proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army before embarking on a remarkable career spanning nearly five decades at the Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, FL. His dedication to his work was only matched by his passion for racing, whether it be cars, horses, or canines.
Beyond his love for racing, Wayne also enjoyed fishing. However, his greatest delight was spending time with his beloved sons and grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Wayne's presence, warm smile, and gentle voice will be profoundly missed.
Predeceased by his wife, Martine Chudy, and sister Diane Boyken, Wayne's legacy continues through his family. He is survived by his devoted sons, Mark Chudy of Monroe, CT, Alex Chudy, and Maxfield Chudy, both of Palm Harbor, FL. His five grandchildren, Adriana, Jayden, Haley, Lilly, and Axel, will carry forward the memories of their grandfather's love and the lessons he imparted. Wayne also leaves behind his brother, Edward "Butch" Chudy, who will remember him not only as a sibling but as a true friend.
Wayne's life was a testament to the enduring strength of kindness. In every aspect of his life, he exemplified the qualities of a gentle soul who always put others before himself. Wayne will forever be remembered as the best listener, one who never judged anyone for their mistakes, and the one you could always turn to for guidance.
