FERRELL, Marion F., Sr. Age 88, of Fenton, passed away July 1, 2024. Services will be announced at a later date. Cremation Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.
Marion is survived by, his wife, Melody; children, Marion (Mary Ellen) Ferrell, Jr., Marvin (Donna) Ferrell, Michael (Peggy) Ferrell, Sr., Stephanie (Jayson) England, and Brandon Clark; grandchildren, Eric Ferrell, Michael Ferrell, Jr., Sylas England; and great grandchildren.
Marion was born March 23, 1936 in Herrin, IL, the son of Kenneth and Mildred (Warren) Ferrell. He married Melody in Sterling Heights October 20, 1984. Marion was employed as a Millwright with Ford Motor Co. for 30 years retiring in 2006; He also had owned and operated a few Shell gas stations in Michigan, a laundry mat in Clarkston and at one point he had worked for a printing company out of Illinois. He was a member of UAW Local #228. Marion was a very skilled millwright and tradesman and handyman around the house. His unique personality gave him the opportunity to meet new people and have many friends.
Marion was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Vernon Ferrell, and sister, Delores Brockman. Online tributes may be shared a www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
