Marion D. Ferrington, age 99 of Suring, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Marion was born on June 6, 1926 to the late John and Martha Devroy. She married James Ferrington on June 23, 1945 in Vernon, Louisianna, while James was in the service, and started their family. The couple later moved their family back to Wisconsin. Marion was a devoted wife and mother. She was a talented sewer, sewing all her daughter's dance costumes. Marion loved bowling, scoring a perfect 300 game once. She also loved gambling.

Marion is survived by her children, Judy (Ed) Wolf and Jim (Cindy) Ferrington;

grandchildren, Brian (Renee) Wolf, Melissa (Jesse) Wolf, Thomas (Lynn) Wolf, Jeffrey (Tammi) Ferrington, James Ferrington, Jennifer (Mike) Mather, and Jason Ferrington; great-grandchildren, Austin, Harlee, Hannah, Wendy, Josey, Kayla, Jeffery, Courtney, Haley, Brady, Justine, Ava, Harmony, Tyler, Gage, Conner, Gracelyn, Tanner, Bryce, Hailey, and Cora; great-great-grandchildren, Destiny, Corbin, Caleb, Ryder, Sequoia, Brandon, Lilly, Joslynn, and Jae. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; sons, Thomas and Kenneth; siblings; grandson, Michael Wolf; granddaughter, Christine Ferrington.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Suring Health and Rehabilitation Center and Unity Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion offered to Marion and her family during their time of need.
