Mrs. Sandra was born on February 22, 1955, in Bessemer AL. and passed away on July 7, 2025, in West Monroe, La. at the age of 70.
Mrs. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Gladys Hammonds, her sisters Jeanette Hill and Laura Sailors, and her brother Bruce Hammonds.
She leaves behind her loving husband Sam Ferrington and her children Tony Hammonds and Ashton Guinther, Her siblings Sharon Caldwell and Carol Garrett along with her 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The love she had for her family, husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will be greatly missed as she loved them dearly. Mrs. Sandra had a love for many things such as flowers, Alabama (ROLL TIDE) college football, getting dressed up, sunbathing at the beach by the water, reeses, fishing, music and most of all God. She was a selfless person and loved doing things for others and always worried about her loved ones. She leaves lots of memories for her family to hold on to and cherish.

So sorry for the families loss. I am a niece of my loved Aunt Sandra. I just found out today July 17, , so Gos please pray for the family and give them strength through this difficult time in Life. Aunt Sandra was always wonderful to me & My sister, we loved you dearly. We will meet again one day. I will always Love & miss you. Audrey Weems
