Marion Nargi Hendzel, 72, of Killingworth, beloved wife of Hank A. Hendzel, passed away March 14, 2025 at Middlesex Hospital. Loving mother of Brandon (Chelsea Nelson) Hendzel of Branford, Mark (Carol) Hendzel of East Hartford and Bryan Hendzel of West Hartford. Cherished grandmother of Alexis (Jay) Vazquez, Justin Kvadas and Portia Hendzel. Sister of Marcia Wunderlich of East Haven, David Nargi of Texas and the late Diane Nargi. Marion was born in New Haven on November 25, 1952 daughter of the late Alfred and Rose Anastasio Nargi. Prior to her retirement, Marion worked in sales for AT&T.
Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven FRIDAY morning, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call FRIDAY morning from 8:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main Street, Branford, CT 06405. Sign Marion's guest book online at www.portofuneralhomes.net.
