Marion Barbara Kautz, aged 83 of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center on the evening of February 5, 2024.
Born on June 3, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Felix & Helen Brodowski. She is also preceded in death by her brother Stephen Brodowski.
Marion gave so much love and care to everyone she encountered. She enjoyed interacting with anyone and everyone and always found something nice to say, just so she could see people smile. She was incredibly outgoing and outspoken and had immense presence when she entered the room. Even her sweet grandchildren called her "Grand Marion," instead of grandma, because of how big and beautiful her personality was. Marion was very eccentric and had a lot of fun playing with her unique and funky style. She was bold, funny, honest, and stood out in the crowd. She was truly one of a kind and will be terribly missed.
Marion is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 52 years, Theodore Kautz; her devoted children, Donna Herring, Glenn Kautz & wife Kathy, and Michelle Kautz; her grandchildren, Laura Mangas & husband Tommy, Eric Kautz, Melissa Santos, Jonathan Santos, Seanna Kautz, and Cora Kautz; and her great-grandchildren, Naomi Santos, Adrianna Santos, George Mangas, Lorenzo Santos, and Matthew Santos.
Marion will be remembered affectionately for her never ending love, her vivacious sense of humor, and for how much joy she brought to the lives of others. She is truly irreplaceable, and her absence is one that is felt deeply by her entire family.
A Celebration of Marion's life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be pastor Ken Coomer. Marion's family will receive friends for a short visitation at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
The staff at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home is proud to serve the family of Marion Barbara Kautz.
