Mrs. Marion E. Reimer
Saginaw, Michigan
Mrs. Marion Reimer was called home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Covenant – Harrison in Saginaw. She was 89 years old. Marion Elizabeth (Rogner) Reimer was born on June 4, 1935, in Saginaw, to the late Rudolph and Irma (Buss) Rogner. She was married to Alvin J. Reimer on June 8, 1957, at Christ Lutheran Church in Reese, MI, and after 64 years of marriage, Alvin predeceased her on November 15, 2021.
Marion is survived by her three children, David Reimer, Diane (Ricardo) Gallegos, and Donna (Chad) Dwyer; her grandchildren, Michelle Gallegos (Julian Padilla), Jennifer (Nathan) Pyle, and Marissa (Kodey) Ahnen; her great-grandchildren, Elias and Lilliana Padilla, Carsen Pyle and baby girl Pyle who is expected in March, and Maverick Ahnen; her sister, Millie Maurer; and many nieces and nephews.
Marion was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Walter and Marlene Reimer, Francis and Millie Barko, Wilbert and Elsie Hoernlein, and Howard Mauer.
Prior to her retirement, Marion was employed as a sales associate at Tepe's and Sears for over 20 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she was involved with its Altar Guild, was coordinator for the shut-in program, and volunteered with funeral dinners for years.
The Celebration of Marion's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2024, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss, Saginaw. The Rev. Michael R. Korte will officiate. Marion will be laid to rest next to her husband in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Valley Lutheran High School. Memories and sympathies of Marion may be shared with the family on her memorial website at WakemanFuneralHome.com
