Marion "Shu-Shu" (Golden) Ross Schuchert (Marshfield) – July 21, 2023
Our Mom, Grandmother (Nunny & GiGi), Aunt, Sister and great friend peacefully passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 84.
"Shu-Shu" was the daughter of the late Helen (Butler) and Joseph Golden. She was the oldest of six brothers and sisters, Helen, Joe, Richard, Leo, Roseanne, and Cathy. Inspirational Mom to Ricky, David, Sharon, and Jim. Grandmother to Amanda, Brittany, Colby, and Devan. Great grandmother to Charlee, Blakely, Alani, and Malakai.
Growing up in North Quincy she married our father, Richard (Dickie) Ross.
They moved to Braintree and settled in Marshfield. Our Mom was a Hostess at Lou's 139 Restaurant and a Teacher's Aide at Governor Winslow Elementary School. She was also a collection specialist and a secretary.
She was so courageous with a spunky sense of humor. No matter what life handed her she had a special and unique way of moving forward. She used the rear-view mirror as it was intended to be. No matter the setting, her presence would warm up the room. She would take others under her wing knowing they needed some encouragement.
Some of her favorite pastimes were playing Bingo and visiting the Marshfield Senior Center. She always loved telling jokes, mostly clean ones and dressing up in her favorite costumes, especially Lady Gaga and Elvis creating smiles and laughter for all.
A quote our mom lived by, "In a world where "You" can be anything, be "Yourself". You did Mom, so elegant and proudly!

Interment services are private.
A Celebration of Life and service will be held in July of 2024.
