Marisa Viel Rojas passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at her home in Garland, Texas. Born on December 19, 1977, in The Philippines, Marisa's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith.
Marisa's early years were spent in the warm embrace of her parents, Mario Santin Viel and Lorda Igme Viel. She grew up alongside her siblings, Gemma I. Viel, Michael I. Viel, and John Joseph I. Viel, in a household filled with laughter and kindness. Her family extended to her cherished niece, Chiara Samantha Ysabelle Viel, with whom she shared countless precious memories.
Her journey of love continued when she married her soulmate, Jason G. Rojas, on February 1, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Ysabella Philomena Viel Rojas born of their union and Julian A. Rojas born to Jason from a previous marriage. Marisa embraced motherhood with an open heart, dedicating herself to nurturing her family with unwavering devotion.
Professionally, Marisa was a respected HR Executive for Citibank in The Philippines, where she was known for her fairness, insight, and the ability to inspire those around her. Her career was a reflection of her commitment to helping others grow and succeed.
