Marisela Reyes Toledo (63) was born in Ciudad Juarez Chihuaha, Mexico, on September 13, 1960 and passed from this life on September 8, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Sebastian Toledo; her one son, Osvaldo Tovar; her three daughters, Veronica Ramos, Karina Harris, and Cynthia Toledo; her nine grandchildren, Renee, Rudy, Roman, Jacob, Isaiah, Cesar, Yasmine, Isaac and Nevaeh; three great-grandchildren Aliyah, Rose and Sofia.
One of the many things that will be missed was her blend of wisdom and warmth, much like her collection of perfume that lingered lovingly in a room that Marisela could light up with her unmistakably outspoken voice. She never missed a beat with her ability to speak her mind, which we all know was as sharp as her sense of style. She was the heart of the family that we will forever cherish. Along with her strong sense of love for her family, she had a precious heart of gold for anyone in her presence. Marisela was known to be the brightest soul of every party or family gathering with her uproarious jokes. Her legacy is one of laughter, love, and the kind of honesty that only she could deliver. As her grandchildren, we are eternally grateful for every joke, and angelic song she sang and danced to that we were able to share with her. Our grandmother was a woman of extraordinary presence and one who lived her life with a flair that was her own.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster. A rosary and celebration of Marisela's life will be at 11:00am on Friday, September 20, 2024 also in Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
In loving memory, we will forever keep her close.
