A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wolfe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Born on February 25, 1941, in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Hipólito Toledo and Isolina Artigas Toledo. A graduate of New York Community College, he thoroughly enjoyed following his beloved New York Yankees and spending time with family. He loved America and anything with stars, red, white and blue.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lydia Plumey Toledo; his children, Danette Elease Toledo and Lisette Toledo Cameron; siblings, Nereida Toledo Wong and Sylvia Toledo Caldero; son-in-law, Richard Thomas Cameron; grandchildren, Caleb Thomas Cameron and Lydia Kathleen Cameron; and numerous cousins.
