James Roy "Jim" Boozer

James Roy Boozer, age 92, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Royal Park of Matthews. The family is hosting a private celebration of life that will be announced at a later date. Born in Asheville, NC, Jim was the son of the late Thomas Job Boozer and Mildred Grant Boozer. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, going fishing, hunting, bird watching, he loved all animals, especially snakes. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. He loved his granddaughters and great grandsons. Surviving is his wife, Faye Langley Vaughn; his children, Kenneth G. Boozer, James R. Owens (Tonita); siblings, Donald Hendershot; grandchildren, Savannah Owens, Tabatha Brooks, Kristina Thielen; great-grandchildren, Logan, Gage, Cooper and Asher.
