Obituary of Marjorie A Bonta
With deepest sorrow, the family of Marjorie A (Valcourt) Bonta announces her peaceful passing on December 31, 2024, at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of 61 years to the late Joseph Bonta. She was the loving mother of Valerie Bonta and her husband Gary Sardynski of Franklin TN, Carl Bonta and his wife Trina Orne of Melrose MA, Karen Middleton and her husband Gary of Billerica MA, and the late Adrienne Hart and her late husband Bernard of Billerica MA. She was the sister of Robert Valcourt, and the late Albert Valcourt. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Lauren Bonta, Jennifer Bonta, Sarah Middleton Sanderson, and Evan Middleton along with two great grandchildren, Avalyn and Liam Sanderson.
Marjorie was born on February 22, 1932 in Plymouth MA, settling in Burlington MA in 1966 where she raised her family and resided for over 50 years. She enjoyed seeing her neighbors and spending quality time with her family. She loved ice skating, dancing, and playing cards, especially cribbage. She had a quick wit and always found a way to make you laugh with her funny quotes, for example: I don't corner as well as I used to but I'm good on the straights, and, I am who I was and that's who I am! She was greatly loved and will be missed.
