A Rosary for the deceased will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Friday October 3, 2025 at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery near Guernsey.

Marjorie Ann "Marge" Fronapfel was born on January 1, 1936 in Galt, Missouri and passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland, Wyoming. Daughter to Charles and Kitty (McClanahan) Shockey, Marge was raised in Galt, Missouri. She married Carl Fronapfel on July 19, 1952 in Wheatland. Together they raised their eight children in Guernsey and Laramie. Once retired, Carl and Marjorie settled in Harlingen, Texas until they returned to Guernsey.

Marge spent many years in various positions at Crazy Tony's in Guernsey, where everyone who came in was greeted with a huge smile and a kind word. Marge was employed at the University of Wyoming as a custodian where she retired in 1995.

Once retired, Marge and Carl bought an RV, traveled the country, visited their children, met new people, and created memories. They settled in Harlingen, Texas until returning to Guernsey in 2020. Marge loved watching the hummingbirds come to her feeders, she couldn't pass up a garage sale and decided that going to karaoke was a wonderful retirement activity. Her favorite song to sing was Crazy by Patsy Cline. Marge had a love for life. She found humor in many things and her laugh was infectious.

Marge is survived by her children, Tom (Cindy) Fronapfel of Laramie, Wyoming, Penny (Tom) James of Papillion, Nebraska, Connie (Mark) Skelton of Rangely, Colorado, Debbie (Nick) Mizelle of Billings, Montana, Tammy Hohnholt of Guernsey, Marty (Sharon) Fronapfel of Kalispell, Montana, Terry (Tammy) Fronapfel of Vernal, Utah, Buffy (Virgil) Sanchez of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 28 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Kitty (McClanahan) Shockey; husband Carl Fronapfel; brothers, George, Charles and Dennis Shockey; sisters, Donna Gates and Mary Burke; great granddaughter, Amber; and great grandson, Seth.

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland, Wyoming assisted in the arrangements.
