Marjorie Letourneau Obituary

Marjorie Harriet Letourneau (Arnold) was born on Feb 15, 1928 in Pittsfield, MA and died July 18, 2025 in Oxford, FL at Mission Oaks. She was 97 and lived a long life as a care giver. She gratulated as a Registered Nurse (RN) from Bishop Memorial School of Nursing in 1949. She married Mathew Stanley Wronski in 1950. She worked as a head nurse at Pittsfield General Hospital in Pittsfield, MA. She had a daughter, Debra Jean (1952-2015), and four sons, Daniel Mathew (1954), David Howard (1955) , Darrel Frank (1958-2017), and Donald Michael (1961) while living in Pittsfield, MA. She and Matt moved their family to Pompano Beach, FL in 1961. After her first husband Matt died in 1971, she returned to work full time as a RN. She married Robert Vincent Letourneau in 1983. After Robert died in 1985, Marjorie resumed private duty nursing. Marjorie retired to live in Melbourne, FL in 1994. When her son Darrel suffered a stoke she cared for Darrel in her home for 11 years. She moved to The Villages, FL in 2015 with her son Darrel after her daughter Debra died.

One of her passions was playing golf before her retirement. She scored two hole-in-ones. She is survived by three sons, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A private family service will occur on 7/26/2025. Burial with her son Darrel's ashes will be performed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, FL.
