Marjorie L. Reeder, age 95, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 16, 2025. It seems only fitting that she went to heaven on the Lord's day and our skies were filled with a glorious sunrise. She was born on January 8, 1930 to the late Frank and Laura Bowen. It brings peace knowing she is in a better place with her beloved husband, Robert Reeder; sweet sister Martha Jane Deal and her husband, Hal; her dear brother, Robert (Laurel) Bowen and their son, Don Bowen.

Marge was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Her parents proudly raised her in a community that understood the importance of serving the Lord and making sure every child received a valuable education. Marge's father, F.W., was a teacher, principal, athletic director and coach in the town. He was, also, the minister at the Olgebay Resort in West Virginia from time to time. Marge's mother, Laura, made sure their home was filled with prayer and joy. Marge enjoyed going to school and loved to read Bible stories. One of her fondest memories goes back to being in an elementary school play where she played Snow White and Prince Charming kissed her on the cheek. The story of Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors was one of her favorite stories from the Bible. Marjorie went onto hygienist school at The Ohio State University and her love for the Ohio State Buckeyes continued to grow there. If she could have it her way, she would have never missed a single OSU football or basketball game. There truly wasn't a sport that Marge didn't enjoy watching. She worked as a hygienist and for Aetna Insurance Medicaid for 20 years. Marjorie was a fashionista and every ensemble came with earrings, a purse and a great pair of heels. Her appreciation of style left a beautiful impact on everyone that was blessed to be in her presence. She was very involved with Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church serving in several capacities: Tots for Kids, the head of her circle, and the treasurer of United Women. Bob and Marge followed their wonderful pastor, Bill Lyle, over to Peace United Methodist Church in Pickerington, Ohio along with their dear friends, Gary and Betty Carter. She was, also, a proud voter and volunteered at her local polling station. Her love for the Lord was truly admired by many. She was a blessing from heaven and an angel on earth.

Bob and Marge were married on May 18, 1968. The most special moment in Bob & Marge's marriage was the birth of their son, Rex. He filled their days with pride and joy. There wasn't a school or sporting event that they would miss because they loved him so dearly. Marge was very involved in her son's parent teacher association. Bob was his biggest fan and learned to string tennis racquets as his love for the game continue to grow and grow.

She is survived by her dear son Rex, daughter-in-law Taita, her two precious grandsons Rowen and Ashe; her nieces Vickie (Mark) Fish, Laurie (Artie) Benson and Beth Benson; nephews Rick (Sandy), Bob (Dixie) and niece-in-law Janet Bowen. She will be missed dearly by many family members, friends and neighbors.

Marjorie's family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH, where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Bill Lyle. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
