Published by Legacy on Jul. 30, 2025.
Marjorie Ruth Simmons, 89 of Rose Hill Kansas went to be with our Lord Jesus on June 27th, 2025 surrounded by her family whom she loved and cherished.

Marjorie was born in Rose Hill, Kansas to Berlin and Mildred Cox on September 8th, 1935.

There was pride in her voice as she would share that she attended all 12 years of school and her whole life in and around Rose Hill.

On August 22, 1954 she married the love of her life, Keith Simmons. They remained happily married until Keith's passing in 2020.

As a mother and homemaker, she loved God and family. She was dedicated to her sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends. As much as possible, she attended various activities in support of all as the years went by.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Simmons, parents, Berlin and Mildred Cox and daughter-in-law, Jenny Simmons.

Marjorie is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Herb) Shaffer, her sons: David (Patty) Simmons, Brian (Rhonda) Simmons, Greg (Karen) Simmons, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Rose Hill Friends Church on July 11th at 10:00 A.M.
