Marjorie Sparks, aged 76, of Laplace, LA, passed away on August 16, 2025. Born on June 17, 1949, Marjorie dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both through her profession and in her personal life.

Marjorie worked diligently as a housekeeper for many families over the years, a career through which she touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication. She was a graduate of St. Katherine's Primary School, where she formed many lifelong friendships.

Known for her loving and caring nature, Marjorie cherished spending time with her family above all else. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Sparks; brother, David Sparks; sisters-in-law, Sharon Sparks and Valerie Sparks; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Henry L. Sparks; brothers, Henry D. Sparks, Frank L. Sparks Sr., Edward C. Sparks, and Matthew Sparks; and sister, Gwendolyn V. Sparks.

A private service will be held to honor Marjorie's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a cause that was dear to Marjorie's heart.

Where do I begin ? Sue thank you thank you thank you for being that perfect aunt anyone can ask for. You took care of us as we your own kids. Many times we didn´t know what we were going to eat but you made it happen each and everyday. There are many words I can say about the beautiful person you were to me and I love for it. Your nephew isn´t ok right now but I am finding the strength knowing that you are in a much better place now. Kiss the family for me , tell my moms , my uncles , my great aunt, my lil cousin I said I love them. Take your rest no more suffering, no more pain until we meet again. Love Coo Coo as you would call me.
