Marjorie (Marge) Jean Sumruld
December 9th 1937 - January 31st 2025
Marge Sumruld, 87, of Visalia, Ca went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 31st 2025. Marge is survived by her daughter Monica Garcia (Jesse), daughter Brenda Sumruld, granddaughter Lia Silva (Kevin) and her 4 great grandchildren. Marge was proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years Glen, her brother Wayne Tait and her grandson Derek Garcia. Marge was born on December 9th 1937 to Elmer and Aurel Tait in Tulare, Ca. Marge attended Tulare schools and graduated from Tulare Union Highschool shortly before marrying her husband Glen. Glen and Marge built a life together through the many business' Glen started and Marge assisted in keeping the books. Later in life she worked at Casual Corner where she was a top salesperson, she truly loved helping women with styling their clothes and getting a discount on the latest fashions. She regularly attended church at Visalia First Assembly of God Church, she loved her church and had a very special bond with her Pastor Mike Robertson. Marge was a faithful servant of the Lord and a powerful prayer warrior. The last few years of her life she resided at Quail Park at Shannon Ranch where she made countless wonderful friends and also built a close relationship with many of the staff that work there. Marge will be missed by many, especially her family. Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday February 11th at Visalia First Assembly of God Church. Arrangements are by Hadley Marcom. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations to be made to Visalia First Assembly of God for their First Step Recovery program
