Mark Anderson Obituary
ATHOL, MA - Mark Anderson Jr., a tire technician at Original Tires, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7th 2024, at the young age of 33.
Markie is survived by his father, Mark Anderson Sr.; predeceased by his mother Colleen Anderson; survived by his sister and brother Killian and Spencer Anderson; predeceased by his daughter Lillian; survived by his sons Kobie, Brayden and Mark III; his fiance Rebecca Deleo; his step-son Jacob Deleo; his son Brayden's mother Sofia Grenier and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Markie was born May 24, 1990 to Mark Sr. and Colleen Hanlon Anderson in Cambridge, MA. He graduated from Mahar High School in 2009. He had many struggles throughout his life and each one made him stronger. His children were his everything and through them he will truly live on.
Markie began his journey with addiction at a very early age. Many heartbreaks later he was able to regain his life and at the time of his passing he was over three and half years sober. Markie loved to walk claiming his "lamborfeeties" were the only car he needed. He was hard working and an extremely giving person. His laughter would bring joy to everyone around him. He had a tough persona to most people but when you truly sat him down and talked he became a giant teddy bear. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his children. Learning to play minecraft so he could play with his son Brayden was how he spent his last night. His drive and passion were what kept everyone around him going.
He will be missed and loved by many. Forever and always smiling.
A celebration of life in honor of Markie will be held at a later date. The family will announce when and where at a future time.

Markie and I started out as family. His mother's cousin married my sister. So, whatever that makes us, that we were. However, we treated our relationship as more of an "uncle-nephew" type of thing. That was about 27 years ago or so.
About 10 years passed, my sister and Butch divorced, but Markie and I remained very close. So much so, that he moved in with me for over a year when I had taken over Missy's house.
I don't believe that I've ever been closer to another human besides maybe my mother.
I think I'm gonna need some help with this one...
I love you, Markie!! I hope I see you again, my friend!!
