CUYAHOGA FALLS- Mark Banas, 63 passed away November 7, 2023.
Mark was born December 8, 1959, in Fairview Park to the late George and Audrey Banas. He attended Lutheran West High School. He then went on to attend the University of Akron and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He met Kathleen, his loving wife, while working at Ponderosa as a cook. After some time, the two were married and they shared 40 years together. He worked for 40 years at Goodyear as a mechanical engineer.
Mark enjoyed hiking, and spending time with his grandchildren, Eleanor, and Kayce. He loved to travel with his wife, spending their 40th anniversary in France.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Kathleen; sons, Adam (Sara) Banas, Matthew (Bridgette) Banas, Bryan Banas; grandchildren, Eleanor, and Kayce.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Bethany.
Calling hours will be held from 4:30 until 6:30 pm on Sunday, November 12, at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221. A service to honor Mark will follow at 6:30 pm, Sunday November 12th.
A private burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park
