Mark J. Berlinger Sr.

Mark Joseph Berlinger Sr.( Big Mo, Pops), 74 of Port Huron, passed away peacefully at home June 18, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Mark was born Nov. 6, 1948 in Almont, Michigan to the late Mark Gust and Barbara Elaine (Conklin) Berlinger
Upon leaving Capac High School Mark was drafted into the Army where he served 2 tours in Vietnam, before being honorably discharged.
He served with the Memphis, Michigan Police Dept. and the St. Clair County Sherrifs Dept. before hiring into Ford Motor Company, where he stayed until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed playing bingo, camping, karaoke, and the occasional casino trip.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lisa Anne, children; Tammy Lynn (Spanky Gaudette), Mark Joseph (Jennie Dimon) and Tina Marie (Don Marsh), grandchildren; Ashley, Trenton, Dylan and Kevin, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and also Kym Chambers and Kayla. He is also survived by his siblings; Maree Storey, Diann Langmesser, Mike (Linda), Donna Jarvis (Dave), Bob (Dee), Renee McNally (Steve), Carmen Zimmerman (Jim), Karen Dombrowski and Lisa Winningham (Kurt).
Mark was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Michael "Hillbilly" Berlinger.
There will be a Celebration of Life in honor of Mark, at his home on July 8th at 2:00pm.
Inurnment will be in Memphis Cemetery, with Military Honors, at a later date.
