Mr. Mark Richard Bluett

Mark Richard Bluett was born on November 24, 1951 in Evanston, Illinois to Nancy and Kenneth Bluett. The oldest of six children, he is survived by his siblings Michael, Christine, Mitchell, Patrick, and Timothy. On October 20th, 1984 Mark married his beloved bride Laura Louise Millspaugh Bluett and together they had three daughters Katelyn Louise Bluett (Lotz), Molly Anne Bluett (Chatters), and Amy Elizabeth Bluett. He is survived by his wife, his daughters, his sons-in-law Paul Lotz and Hunter Chatters, his grandchildren Lorelei, William, Benjamin, Imogen, and Coraline. His greatest joy was his family. After a heartbreaking struggle with Alzheimer's Disease he passed away on September 17, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, Athens Georgia after loving and compassionate care from the staff there and the staff at Compassus Hospice. A Memorial Service is being held at The Refuge at Maysville Baptist Church at 8875 Highway 82 Spur, Maysville Georgia 30558 on Tuesday, September 23 at 4pm.
