Mark Bottorff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palmer Funeral Homes - Bubb Chapel on Sep. 19, 2024.
Mark Bottorff, a cherished member of the Mishawaka community and a beloved figure within his family, passed away on September 18, 2024, in Mishawaka, IN, at the age of 66. Born on February 1, 1958, in South Bend, IN, Mark spent his early years surrounded by the love and guidance of his parents, the late Robert and Ann (Engel) Bottorff, and his brothers, including the late Rev. Chris Bottorff.
Mark was a proud alum of Mishawaka High School, class of 1975, after which he embarked on a meaningful and steadfast career. For over 32 years, he dedicated his professional life to Steel Warehouse, where he not only honed his skills but also built lifelong friendships before his well-deserved retirement.
Passionate about the natural world, Mark found joy and peace in the simplicity of fishing and the nurturing of his garden. His generosity was evident through the vegetables he cultivated and shared with neighbors, extending the warmth of his heart to those around him.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his cherished sister-in-law Ruth Bottorff; his devoted brother Rev. David (Marilyn) Bottorff; adored nephews Nathan, Jonathon (Nicole), Ben (Stephanie), and Samuel (Melissa) Bottorff; and treasured niece Rebecca Bottorff. Mark's memory will be revered and his spirit deeply missed, for he shaped a legacy of kindness, devotion, and gentle benevolence that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
