Mark Anthony Campbell, 62, passed away on May 21, 2025 at his home in Flowery Branch, Georgia surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 7, 1962 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Phyllis Campbell, Mark graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1980 and earned a computer science degree from Northeast State Community College. He was proud to have served in the United States Air Force, especially his time in England that allowed him to travel across Europe.
Mark married Louise McGuire in 1994 and started their family of four in Kingsport, Tennessee. In 2004, a job with Cisco Systems in Lawrenceville brought them to Flowery Branch, Georgia.
Mark will be remembered for his passion for disc golf. He was a proud member of the Professional Disc Golf Association and loved playing tournaments. Mark enjoyed gardening, reading, and his church.
Mark is survived by his wife of 30 years, Louise McGuire Campbell; a daughter, Sara Elizabeth, and a son, Michael Anthony, all of Flowery Branch; brothers, Chris Campbell (Janet) and Phil Campbell; nephews Nathan Campbell and Will Campbell; niece Catherine Campbell; brother-in-law, Jim McGuire (Cindy); nephew, Jay McGuire; nieces, Margaret McGuire and Kathleen McGuire White (Bryan); great-niece, Eleanor White.
Memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 24, 2025 located at Cornerstone Tabernacle in Oakwood, GA.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, Georgia, 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
