Mark Steven Campbell

Mark Steven Campbell, 49 of S. Main Street, Keyser, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at his sister's home while under the care of WVU Medicine Hospice.

Born on May 6, 1976 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Harold A. "Skip" and Cornelia B. "Nealie" (Smith) Campbell.

Mr. Campbell was a 1995 graduate of Keyser High School and formerly owned and operated The Stray Dog Hot Dog Shop in Keyser. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and was a frequent visitor to many of the local area food establishments.

Surviving is his wife of 18 years, Melissa D. (Masters) Campbell; three daughters, Amayah Campbell of Spokane, WA, BreeAnn Masters and Jasmine Masters, both of Keyser; two sisters, JoAnn Wilson and husband Bobby of Baltimore and Ronda Scott and husband Carl of Keyser; three nieces, Tara, Taryn (Randy) and Aaryn (T.J.); a nephew Damon and was the beloved "Untle" to numerous grand nieces and nephews. Also surviving are five beloved cousins that he considered as siblings, Dana, Dewey, Kevin, Brian and Shad; an aunt, Freda "MeeMaw" Campbell of Baltimore; and two special friends, Jamie Fields and Eric Johnson.

Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 1-2 p.m. A Celebration of Mark's life will be held immediately following the service at 2:00 p.m. A repast for all family and friends will be held after the service with the location to be announced the day of the service.

The family requests that those attending please wear either your favorite Baltimore Ravens attire or clothing of either purple or red to honor Mark's love for the Ravens.

The family also respectfully requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Smith Funeral Home, 85 S. Main Street Keyser, WV 26726 to assist in defraying funeral expenses.
