My oldest friend... Here are some of my favorites but the best images I have are in my head. I miss you a lot, never thought you'd go first and so young. Love you and hope you've finally found some peace

I was so sad to hear of Mark's passing. I remember him when I was helping my late wife JoAnn Palaia Trufolo with a show she directed him in at Shore Regional. He was smart, funny, talented, kind and sincere.

My dear roommate at Wagner for the beginning of my sophomore year, I had the honor of standing next to you on stage several times! You were a joy with a smile and a laugh that could light up any room. You will be sorely missed.

To the Caputo Family, We are extremely saddened by the loss of our dear friend Marky and are filled with sympathy for all of you. We were his professors at Wagner College, and his huge theatre family of peers are now sharing stories on Facebook, if you are connected at all to that, you might appreciate seeing all the love and stories and photos about him. We would also love to hear more about him from you, but no pressure and we have no expectations. Please take care of yourselves. Much love, Norma Lee Chartoff and Charles "Chip" Scott

Marky, you were a light in this world and I am better for having known you. You were my Mr Mushnik, my Highest of High tenors for all of the shows we did at the Wag, and the best Pseudolus ever! So many laughs we shared and the best of conversations. You were a great listener, friend, snarky snark when I needed it in college. So very talented, smart and of course funny. Did I mention HANDSOME TOO?! Just gorgeous inside and out. My heart breaks to think I will never get to see you again and catch up on life. I selfishly want to be able to hear your incredible laugh again and try to harmonize on some silly song. I like to think that there's a place where we are with the ones we loved on earth and if there is I know you are with your babies and your Dad singing sweetly. Rest easy my friend knowing you were loved. xo - Dori
