Please receive my condolences for the profound loss to your family. I share with you in my own personal way the absence of Mark from the Toll family. I shall always remember him as a kind, generous and gracious colleague who never failed to make me smile even through the distance of an email or a phone call. I know that nothing can take his place but the memories held by all he touched will remain forever.

My deepest condolences on Mark's passing; I was shocked to learn the news. My heart goes out to his wife, Erin, his daughters, his parents, sisters, and his family. I got to know Mark in high school, and then we both attended EIU; he had a magnetic personality with a gift of always making people laugh. I was not in touch these last many years, but I could only imagine how fun he was as a Dad. May he rest in peace and always keep us laughing with fun memories.

My heart is broken. I knew Mark because of work, but I will never forget Mark because he was my friend. He had a gift for making me laugh, lifting my spirits and making me feel cared for. What a funny, kind, beautiful person he was. Erin, Claire, Meredith...he loved you so very much and I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. I will miss my friend...Meredith's dad...the giant. Giant he was...larger than life with a heart that was even bigger. I take comfort knowing he is in the arms of the Father, nevertheless, I will miss him dearly. Until we meet again, sweet friend.

You're gone too soon and though I'm miles apart from you, and though we only caught-up once every month or so over an email or call, the news of your untimely departure has shocked me to my core. I found you passionate about what you do, and you challenged everybody around you to do our best to match your energy levels. You inspired me in several ways than you can imagine. I was deeply saddened to hear about your recent loss. Mark was such a wonderful and unique friend and colleague. He truly was the funniest person I have ever met. l loved being around him because I knew I was going to laugh and have a great time.
